June 12, 1918 – The Trench and Camp

During my recent visit to the Kautz Family YMCA Archives at the University of Minnesota, I was amazed to find that the archives had a collection of Camp Devens newspapers from 1917-1918.

On this date, one hundred years ago, my grandfather would have sat down to read a copy of this Trench and Camp newspaper June 12, 1918 edition, hot off the press:
