June 26, 1918 – It’ll all fit in that pack?

By this date one hundred years ago, Unit A knew it wouldn’t be long before they would be sent Over There.  They were ready.  Jay was….well, I think he was ready.

Among the things they’d been trained to do was to pack everything they owned and needed into a pack to be carried.

 

I might have gotten my carry-on-only skills from my grandfather.
